Carlsbad Caverns National Park, New Mexico

Below: The surface is mostly desert scrub with cactus, a few flowers and a few rock formations ... nothing to indicate the marvelous caverns below.



Below: Our cavern tour took us 750 feet below the surface. The cavern rooms are huge and highly decorated with stalagmites and stalactites.
