Picture of the Week

For week of 12/17/11: The Mustangs of Las Colinas, TX

Mustangs

These larger-than-life bronze horses appear to be running through the water fountain in front of a hotel in downtown Las Colinas, Texas. The sculpture is named "The Mustangs of Las Colinas" and is the largest equestrian sculpture in the world. Inspired by the wild mustangs that run around in the fields near by, artist Robert Glen spent eight years creating the horses which were cast in bronze in England and flown over on a 747.
