Our visit to the beautiful rainforests of Costa Rica was awesome. We love to see and photograph wild animals and this was paradise indeed. We really enjoyed the monkeys, toucans, scarlett macaws and crocodiles. It was a treat to see sloths and an anteater. For five days we stayed in an open-air 'treehouse' in the forest - basically a platform built on stilts with screen all around - which put all the sights, sounds and fragrance of the rainforest right in our room.

Below: We saw four species of monkeys - capuchin, howler, spider and squirrel. We loved the monkeys.
Below: One day a troop of capuchin monkeys climbed onto the porch of our treehouse and watched us through the screen. We were the ones in the zoo and they came to look at us!
